Drove past a boarded up school in Ohio every summer for 4 yrs, finally walked in with my uncle
My uncle used to teach at this old brick school outside Youngstown that shut down back in 2009, and every time we drove past it on the way to his place I'd say we should sneak in. Last month he finally pulled over and we walked around the back where a fence panel was already bent open, and inside the gym floor was peeled up in curls like old paper. Anyone else had a spot they put off for way too long and then wished they'd gone in sooner?

Kept walking past this abandoned roller rink near my grandpa's house for like 6 years before my cousin and I finally crawled through a broken window. Wish I'd done it way sooner because the old skates were still racked up on the wall and everything was covered in this thick orange dust. Your gym floor thing sounds wild, bet that place smelled amazing in a weird way.
