I used to bake mixtape labels in the oven to dry the ink faster, now I just let them air dry overnight
Back in the 90s I'd crank my oven to 170 and pop the labels in for 3 minutes, but after one batch warped so bad they peeled off the J-cards I stopped doing it. Has anyone else got a weird old trick they had to ditch because it caused more problems than it solved?

170 degrees is way too hot for paper anyway.

Olivia_chen35 is right about that temp being risky. I switched to just using a hairdryer on low heat held about a foot away, which dries the ink in under a minute without any warping. That way you get the speed without ruining the labels.
