Spotted an influencer posing on our beam before the crane arrived

We were setting up for a big lift downtown, and this person climbed up for photos. Had to hold the job until they got down safely. Their phone nearly dropped into the steel, which was a funny moment.

That phone nearly dropping says it all. People are so focused on getting the perfect shot they forget basic safety. It’s like common sense gets edited out of the picture.

Used to roll my eyes at that stuff too, but seeing it happen changed my mind.

You think they forget safety for the shot? That phone almost falling proved they weren't thinking about safety at all in the moment. It's not like they knew the rules and then edited out the risk later. The whole point is they ignored the danger while it was happening right in front of them.
