Hit a wall with my 1911 trigger job...

Polished all the contact points but it's still gritty... Is there a common oversight with these?

Forgot to clean out the polishing grit?

That "forgot" moment has killed so many parts, seen stuff seize solid lmao.

That grit can wreck bearings if it's not all out. Seen it happen before. Really messes up the whole setup.
