Check your coat pockets. Mine ended up in my winter jacket from last season.

My winter coat is actually in a storage bin in the basement, so that wasn't it for me. I found my missing earbud case in the side pocket of my gym bag yesterday. It must have fallen out of my purse. I always check the couch cushions too, that's a classic spot.

Notice how lost stuff always ends up in the last place you'd actually look. Makes you wonder how much time we waste just moving things between temporary spots.
