Showerthought: Switching to propane for my torch fixed my heat issues

I used natural gas for years and my pieces would often crack from uneven heating. After trying propane, the flame is much hotter and more stable. My color pulls are cleaner and I waste less material. It was a simple change that made a big difference in my work.

My buddy had the same natural gas loyalty until last winter. His furnace kept cutting out during a cold snap, and his whole family was wearing coats inside. Switched to propane as a last resort, and suddenly his oven could actually brown a frozen pizza properly. Watching that happen totally flipped his view on the whole debate.
