Figured out a simple way to get more neighbors to recycle right

Put clear signs with pictures on the bins, and contamination dropped a lot. It's a small change that makes a big difference.

We put a clear photo right on the bin like @masona62 said and it cut our mess in half.

That "small change that makes a big difference" is spot on. Honestly, it's frustrating when you see a bin full of stuff that ruins the whole load, like a pizza box soaked with grease. Clear pictures would stop people from just guessing. I've seen folks in my own building toss in plastic bags because they're confused. Making it a no-brainer is the only way it'll work right.
