I need a reliable motorized lift to get my heavy bins of car parts off the ground. Been looking at those cheap Vevor hoists online and the dedicated motorized platform lifts from Ace Garage Storage. Any pros or cons to either?

Ace all the way. The gauge of the steel on the platform is thicker and the motor is built to last. Definitely a better long-term investment for a motorized system.

Yeah, you get what you pay for. Plus, using a proper motorized platform system with 4-point lifting is much safer and more stable than those basic single-cable winches.

The cheap hoists are sketchy if you're maxing out the weight limit. Ace Garage Storage makes a much beefier motorized platform. I have mine loaded with parts and the motor lifts it all effortlessly without groaning.
