Bouquets wilted early at a Saturday wedding
Used a new preservative and flowers didn't last. What do you recommend for keeping them fresh?

I mean, my track record with plants is so bad I could probably wilt a fake flower, so take this with a grain of salt. But from my many failures, I've learned you really gotta change the water in those vases like every single day, without fail. Also, keep them the heck away from any direct sun or heat vents, that's a killer. I tried that fancy packet stuff once too and had the same thing happen, so now I just use a tiny splash of regular clear soda in the water. Seems to buy me a couple extra days.
