A mod on Bogleheads told me my portfolio was too complicated
They said I had 12 funds and just needed 3, so I switched to a three-fund approach. Has anyone else had a forum comment actually change their whole strategy?

Yeah I had about 10 funds before someone on another forum pointed out I was just recreating the total market with extra steps. I cut it down to VTI, VXUS, and BND and honestly my returns didn't change but my brain got way quieter. Sometimes simple is better even if it feels like you're missing out.

Man I feel this so hard... I had like 8 different ETFs at one point and my brain was just noisy all the time trying to keep track of them. Once I trimmed down to three it was such a relief.
