I finally tried that new 'self-leveling' post mix on a job in Springfield

It cost me $80 for two bags and ended up setting way too fast in the heat, ruining three posts before I could get them plumb. Now I'm back to the old reliable stuff and out the cash. Do you think these quick-set products are ever worth the risk, or should we just stick with what we know works?

Remember my buddy tried a quick-set mix on a fence line last July. He lost a whole morning's work because it hardened in the bucket, which totally backs up what @caleb_bell heard on that podcast. Sometimes the old way is just cheaper and smarter in the long run.
