My sister keeps borrowing my design sketches without asking

I've been sketching some ideas for a casual wear line. My sister saw them and started using similar patterns for her own projects. She doesn't ask first, which bugs me. How do you deal with family members who don't respect your creative work? I'm curious about your stories.

Remember my friend who kept painting the same lake scene over and over? Everyone said it was lazy, but each one felt different to her, like catching a new mood.
