My aunts keep adding lace to my wedding dress sketches

I'm designing my own wedding dress and every family gathering turns into a lace intervention. They mean well, but my simple silhouette now has ruffles on the sleeves and a train covered in flowers. Any tips on how to blend their old school taste with my clean style without starting a feud? I'm running out of polite ways to say no.

Used to ignore all family input until @noahcampbell changed my view. Show them the actual sketches so they see your clean design. Visuals might make them back off without a fight.

Seven aunts or just a couple being really loud about it... have they actually seen your sketches on paper, or are they just going off what you describe? Sometimes people picture something totally different in their heads.
