Just realized I've been pricing my vintage stuff all wrong at estate sales in Tacoma

I kept wondering why my vintage kitchenware from the 50s wasn't selling even at $5 a piece. Turns out buyers in Tacoma specifically want the old Pyrex with the blue patterns but will ignore the clear stuff completely. I finally split them up and sold 8 pieces in one morning for $40 total at a sale near Wright Park. Anybody else notice certain colors or patterns just fly off the tables faster than others?

Gotta push back a little on that blue Pyrex thing. Yeah the blue stuff is popular but the clear stuff is actually where the money is if you find the right pieces. I had this set of clear refrigerator dishes with the metal lids from the 40s and they sold for $80 at my last sale in the Stadium District. The blue stuff is everywhere now, everybody thinks they can flip it but the clear stuff is actually harder to find in good shape without scratches.

Oh absolutely, same thing happened with me and the green patterns!
