Best Monday I ever had: fixed a stuck door in 10 minutes flat.

Last Tuesday I showed up to a old Otis in a downtown Phoenix office building that had been stuck on the third floor since Sunday. I expected a full day of messing with the limit switches and door locks, but it turned out to be a loose wire on the door interlock that I fixed in under ten minutes. Has anyone else had a day where a nightmare job turned into a quick win or is it just me?

I mean, is getting a door unstuck in ten minutes really that big of a deal? That's pretty much what you're supposed to do, right? Idk, maybe it's just me but I've had days where I show up for a "quick fix" and it turns into a whole rebuild. Like last week I had a simple limit switch replacement turn into a two day saga because the old wiring was all melted together. I guess a win is a win, but it sounds more like you got lucky than anything else.

Ray's melted wiring sounds about right, my last quick fix involved a nest of mice and a whole new thermostat.
