Bought a 'cheap' pressure washer and learned the hard way why it was $50
I grabbed a no-name pressure washer from a flea market for $50, thinking I saved big. It lasted exactly two washes before the pump seized up, and now I'm stuck with a rusted 100-foot driveway extension still half-dirty. Anyone else swear by a specific budget brand that actually holds up, or do you just bite the bullet for a name brand?

$50 sounds about right for two washes worth of fun" - but was it the brand that let you down, or did you just get a bad unit that someone already broke? I'm wondering if maybe it was an older model that just got abused before you bought it... Did you check if the pump had oil in it when you got it?
