The way some guys tape joints without cleaning their knives first drives me up the wall.

Watch how this plays out in so many places, like when people don't clean their tools after a project. You get this buildup of crud that makes the next job harder, and it spreads to other things. It's a mindset thing, where skipping the small step seems fine until it isn't. That tape won't stick right, and you're redoing the whole joint, all because of a dirty knife. Really shows how cutting corners just creates more work.

It's pure laziness. That gunk gets in the tape and ruins the seal, it's not hard to wipe a blade off. It's the same mindset as someone who cooks on a filthy stove. Just basic attention to detail that separates a decent job from a sloppy one.
