PSA: A client in Denver said my corner beads looked 'wavy' and it was because I wasn't letting the mud set up enough before taping.

Now I wait a full 45 minutes after bedding the bead before I run my tape knife over it, and my corners are way straighter, has anyone else found a better timing trick?

Actually had the opposite problem here. Letting it set that long made it harder to get a clean line for me. I just go right over it while the mud's still wet.

Right, wet mud is way easier to work with.

Used to swear by letting it dry a bit first. Tried going over it wet like you said last week and it was a total game changer. The knife just glides and feathers out so much cleaner. Can't believe I wasted all that time sanding.
