Spent $800 on a new bucket tooth pattern and it's either genius or a total waste

My crew says it cuts through clay faster, but I think it just wears out the pins quicker. Anyone run into this with their setup?

Is the pin wear even that big a deal? I've seen setups where the pins get chewed up a bit faster, but they still last a whole season. Sometimes a new pattern just feels different and we blame the first thing we notice. Unless you're changing pins every week, it might just be the cost of doing business for better cutting.

Check your pin wear after the next full day. We swapped to a harder grade pin and it balanced out for us.
