Replaced a faucet with a cheap $30 one instead of the $120 model. Wish I had just paid more.

It's funny how we always learn this lesson the hard way. Cheap parts just don't hold up and you end up paying twice when you factor in your time and frustration. There's a whole category of stuff where buying the budget version is a trap, not a deal. Faucets, tools, anything that moves or takes pressure. It's like the universe is trying to teach us that cutting corners just creates more corners to cut later.
