I was using a pry bar like a hammer on a stubborn floorboard for a solid hour before my buddy laughed and said 'that's not a demo tool, man'.

He handed me a flat bar and the board popped out in ten seconds. Anyone else have a go-to tool they were using totally wrong?

But what if the pry bar was just a bad hammer? Sometimes the wrong tool works fine.

My dad's broken thumb from that exact idea says otherwise.
