Dropped $20 on a thermal paste spreader tool and it was a total scam
The little plastic card smeared paste all uneven and my CPU hit 95C under load, so I went back to the pea method and now temps are 20 degrees cooler, has anyone else had better luck with those things?

Was the paste you used already dried out or something?
