Remember when we used to cut holes in side panels with a dremel and a prayer?

I swapped a pre-drilled acrylic window kit for cutting my own plexi with a jigsaw and a file, and the custom fit makes me wonder why I ever wasted money on those universal panel kits back in 2015.

Man my old case had a window held in with double sided tape that fell off after 3 months. Tried the jigsaw method on my last build and honestly it came out way cleaner than I expected. Would never go back to those pre-cut panels now.

Double sided tape? For a window? That's insane (and honestly kind of impressive it lasted 3 months). I would've been so paranoid about it flying off every time the fans spun up. My first mod was just cutting a hole in a cheap steel case with a dremel and a cutoff wheel, took forever and I melted the paint around the edges.
