Finally got my first texture mod to load correctly after 14 crashes in a row

I had been fighting with an old file path for 2 days and once I realized the game was looking for the folder under a different drive letter it all just clicked, has anyone else spent that long on something this simple?

14 crashes in a row? That's rough. But honestly I think you were being nice to yourself with that many tries. I spent an entire week once trying to get a Skyrim texture pack to work. Turned out I had the wrong version of the mod for my game patch and I kept reinstalling the same broken file.

Mod version hunting is basically a full time job at this point, I swear. At least you got it working eventually, 14 crashes in one night would have had me throwing my PC out the window.
