Always used hex editors for save editing until I found a tool that did it right
I spent like 4 years editing save files for Fallout 4 by hand in a hex editor (not fun) because I thought those save editors were too risky. Then I tried FallrimTools last week after a corrupted save from a bad edit (my own fault) and realized it actually parses the data structure properly. Has anyone else been stubborn about using manual methods when a real tool exists?

Hex editor for Skyrim saves here, absolutely refused to touch any tool until I found one that actually showed the quest stages (game changer, honestly).
