Spent $200 on a portable monitor and it saved my workflow in Bangkok
I bought this slim 15-inch USB-C monitor off Amazon before a trip to Thailand, thinking it might be a waste. Turned out I could work from a busy coffee shop near Khao San Road with two screens, which made editing client files way faster. The cost was around $200 and it barely adds weight to my backpack. Has anyone else found a decent portable monitor for under $250 that holds up?

Seems like a lot of trouble and money for something you could probably do without. I travel a lot too and I just use my laptop screen and make it work. Is editing client files really that urgent that you need a whole extra screen in a Bangkok coffee shop? Seems like you could have waited or planned better. But if it works for you, I guess that's what matters.

Wait @matthew_owens9 you travel without a portable monitor? That's wild to me.
