Debate: My best week in Chiang Mai vs my worst day in Bali

Last month I had a flawless week in Chiang Mai - fast wifi, cheap street food, and quiet coworking spaces. Then I spent a day in Ubud fighting 2 Mbps internet and a monkey stealing my lunch. Which do you think matters more for nomad life: reliable infrastructure or vibe?

Broooo that monkey thing is brutal. Are you seriously telling me the wifi in Ubud was actually that bad, like you couldn't even load Google Maps to find a better spot? I've heard mixed stuff about Bali's internet but 2 Mbps sounds like a nightmare for any kind of work. Did you try a coworking space there or was that just your homestay?
