I finally figured out why my client's ads kept getting rejected

I was managing a coffee shop campaign in Austin and spent 3 weeks fixing image text overlap rules. Turns out the real issue was their landing page had a popup that hid the pricing, so Google's reviewer flagged the whole thing. Has anyone else traced a rejection back to something off the ad itself?
