PSA: I just wasted $75 on a digital art brush pack that was a total scam

I saw an ad for these 'pro-level' Photoshop brushes from a new site and bought the whole set. They looked amazing in the promo video, but when I downloaded them, they were just low-res, basic brushes renamed with fancy titles. I tried using them on a character portrait project and they just made everything look muddy and pixelated. I contacted the seller for a refund and got completely ignored. Has anyone else gotten burned by a shady brush seller and know a good place to report them?

It's the same with those cheap online courses.

Disagree on that one. I found a ten dollar course on basic photo editing that totally changed my hobby for me. The teacher was just some guy sharing his process, but it was clear and got me started. Price doesn't always mean it's bad. Sometimes you just need the basics explained well.
