A comment about brush packs made me rethink my gallery

Someone in a Discord critique group said my digital art showcase looked like a pile of random WIPs instead of a story. I cut my gallery from 40 pieces to 12, arranged them by color flow, and my follow count jumped by 60 in a week. Anyone else ever curate their portfolio around mood instead of skill level?

Watched a buddy do almost the same thing last year, dropped his whole gallery down to like 15 pieces all in warm tones. Said it felt weird at first cutting stuff he was proud of, but people actually started scrolling instead of bouncing. Guess a tight story beats a big pile every time.
