Thought those $100 injector testers were a gimmick
Bought a cheap pop tester off eBay just to humor an old mechanic buddy. Found out three of my injectors were sticking at 1800 psi instead of 2600, cost me a blown head gasket later. Anyone else regret skipping proper diagnostics on a build?

Man that's rough. I did something similar on a 7.3 Powerstroke build a few years back, skipped the injector balance test because the truck ran fine cold. Ended up with a cracked piston from a stuck injector dumping fuel. Cost me way more than a decent tester would have. Hurts when you learn the hard way like that.
