My uncle the IT guy made me question my whole backup setup

He saw my external drive sitting on the desk and asked what happens if the house catches fire. Mentioned a $60 cloud plan for the year in Boise, and now I'm copying family photos twice a month. Anyone else ignore offsite backups until someone spells it out like that?
