Saw a 1992 Dell tower on Craigslist, the inside was a surprise

Ngl, I went to pick up a free office chair in Portland last weekend and the seller had this old Dell tower sitting by the curb. I asked if it worked and he said it did but it was too slow for his kid. Popped the side panel before I left, turns out there was a Ryzen 7 and a 3060 Ti shoved in there with some really janky zip ties. He said he bought it that way from a guy who builds them as a hobby and just never used it. Has anyone else run into a sleeper that someone else built and just abandoned? What did you offer for it?
