$22 on a beige Compaq case from a garage sale in Mesa turned my old gaming rig into a stealth machine
I grabbed that yellowed beige tower for $22 at a garage sale in Mesa last month, thinking I would just stuff my spare parts in it, but the airflow was so bad I almost fried my Ryzen 5 in the first week. I ended up drilling a hidden 120mm hole in the back panel and adding a low profile Noctua cooler, and now it runs cooler than my old glass side case while looking like a 1998 office PC. Anyone else run into weird looks when people see your sleeper and think it is just junk?
