Shoutout to the deck crew on the Carnival Vista who saved my $12 magnetic hook hack
Brought a cheap magnetic hook from Walmart on my 7 day cruise out of Galveston last fall, and the cabin walls turned out to be aluminum, so it slid straight to the floor every time. Steward swung by and handed me a strip of command tape from his cart, and that hook held my wet towel for 6 straight days. Anyone else find certain cabin walls are totally useless for magnets, or is it just the older ships?
