My passport expired 6 weeks before my Alaska cruise and the rush fee almost made me miss the boat
I didn't check my passport until 6 weeks before sailing out of Seattle and found it expired, so I paid $60 for expedited processing plus $21 for overnight shipping both ways. It took 11 days door to door, which was way longer than the 5 days the website made it sound, and I was checking the tracking every morning like a maniac. Does anyone know if the passport card works for closed loop cruises out of the US, or should I just keep paying the rush fees?
