My aunt in Miami said to skip the drink package and just pay as I go, she was dead wrong
I did the math after our 7 night cruise to Cozumel and we spent $640 on drinks for two people, while the package would have been $560. My aunt had not cruised since 2015 and prices went up a lot since then, so her tip cost me 80 bucks. Does anyone actually come out ahead paying per drink these days, or is the package always the smarter move now?
