My $32 magnet trick for seasick days on the Crown Princess out of Seattle
Honestly, I used to just accept that the first two nights on any cruise were ruined by feeling queasy. Back in 2018 on a run to Alaska out of Seattle, I got so sick I stayed in the cabin for 36 hours and missed Glacier Bay. Then a guy at the buffet told me he wears a simple magnetic bracelet on his wrist. I figured it was total nonsense but grabbed one for $32 at a port shop in Ketchikan. Ngl, I've now worn it on four cruises and the worst I get is a little woozy around dinner. Is it the magnet or is it just in my head? Either way it works for me, so I'll take it.
