Booked a 7 day Alaska cruise thinking the buffet would be sad, turns out I ate like a king at 6am
I figured the free food on a big ship out of Seattle would be soggy eggs and sad fruit, but on day 2 I found the little omelet station in the back and the cook was making them fresh to order with smoked salmon. Spent $0 extra on food the whole week and still had salmon at breakfast every single morning. Anyone else find a hidden food spot on a ship that beat the fancy paid restaurants?

That smoked salmon omelet station sounds like the move. I had the same thing happen on a Caribbean trip where the tiny taco window by the pool was better than the steakhouse everyone was paying extra for.
