Vent: my prompt journal went missing for 6 days last week and it messed up my whole writing groove
I keep a little notebook where I write down one story idea or prompt every night before bed, and last Tuesday I could not find it anywhere. I tore apart my car, my desk at work in Dayton, even checked the lost and found at the gym, nothing. Six days with no prompts and I felt like my brain just went blank every time I sat down to write. Turns out my kid had shoved it under the couch cushions while building a fort, and I found it Saturday morning while looking for the remote. Do you all keep a backup copy somewhere, or am I the only one who would be totally lost without the paper version?
