Serious question, is a one word prompt too lazy or is it the best test?
My writing group in Tucson did a 20 minute sprint last week where the only prompt was "door" and I wrote more than I have in months. Half the group said a single word is too open and they need a full scene setup to get going, and the other half said constraints just make everyone write the same thing. Where do you land on this?
