Dropped $45 on a beat up typewriter at a Toledo flea market and now my prompt notebook is full
I never thought a machine would get me writing more, but this 1968 Smith Corona from a booth on Reynolds Road made prompts feel like actual work instead of tapping on glass. The ribbon was dried out so I paid $8 for a new one and typed every prompt I could think of for two weeks straight. Something about the clack and the smell of the case makes me write slower and mean it more. Anyone else keep a weird old tool around just to jog their brain for prompts?
