Showerthought: I saw a salon in Tacoma that did something totally different with their station mirrors
I was visiting a friend up there and popped into this little place called Shear Focus on 6th Street. Every single stylist had their main mirror tilted forward at a slight angle, maybe 15 degrees. The owner said she saw it at a trade show and it cuts glare from the overhead lights by a ton, so clients can see their color better without squinting. I always thought mirror placement was just about the view, not the light. Has anyone else tried adjusting their mirror angle like that?

Wow, my barber did that years ago and it made a huge difference.

My stylist tried a similar technique last month and it really helped my hair texture. It's crazy how one small change can fix so many problems.

Yeah I was reading this article about how those small changes at the salon can actually reset your hair's health over time. It makes total sense what you're saying, @taylorcarr, because the right cut can change how your hair dries and holds shape. My friend had a similar fix and her hair just looks so much fuller now. It's wild that we often overlook the simple stuff.
