Picked the paper cape over the plastic one at my salon in Phoenix, and my client looked like a walking burrito
Last Tuesday my shop in Phoenix ran out of our normal plastic capes, so I had two choices: the old paper ones from the back closet or cut open a trash bag. I grabbed the paper cape for a root touch up and by the time I finished the back, the whole thing was stuck to her neck in wet strips. She laughed so hard her foils almost slid off. Now I keep a secret stash of plastic capes locked in my station drawer, and the front desk owes me $40 in replacements. Anyone else have a backup supply of something basic that you REFUSE to share with coworkers?
