Debate: are walk-in clients worth keeping on the books anymore?

Last Wednesday in Phoenix, I had a walk-in ask for a full balayage with no appointment and then complained about the $250 price tag. But a client I've seen for 3 years booked last minute and tipped 30%. Do you still take walk-ins or is it time to go appointment-only for good?

Honestly I used to think walk-ins were good for keeping the schedule full but I've flipped on that. A couple bad experiences with people haggling or no-showing and it's just not worth the headache anymore.

That $250 complaint would have me rethinking walk-ins too.
