Subcontractor schedules nuked my Procore timeline last Friday

I synced their updated task list and it wiped out my baseline progress in the Gantt, took me an hour to restore from a backup. Is there a way to lock the schedule version before importing from subs, or do I need to just duplicate the project file every time?

Wait, it actually overwrote your baseline? I thought Procore was supposed to keep those separate from the actual schedule updates. That's brutal. I had a similar thing happen when a drywall sub sent me a "quick revision" and it somehow pulled all their float time out of the critical path. Took me the whole afternoon to figure out which task got pushed back and why my lookahead was suddenly garbage. I don't trust the sync feature at all anymore. I just export their file, manually mark everything that's changed in my own copy, and only then do I import. It's extra work but at least I know what's coming in. The real kicker is that Procore doesn't even warn you before it nukes the baseline, there's no rollback button. So yeah, duplicating the project file every time is probably your safest move until they fix that mess.
