Rant: Procore vs. the spreadsheet mess at our Tulsa job

We ran a 14 unit remodel with nothing but shared Excel files and email chains for 3 months. Change orders got lost twice, subs billed for work we never approved, and I spent a whole Friday chasing a missing inspection date. Switched everything over to Procore last week and it took one day to see the difference. RFIs and submittals actually route to the right people, and I can pull the full history on any line item in 10 seconds. How do you guys handle the switch without losing all the old data, or do you just start fresh?
