My first site report was a stack of paper notes
Had to carry a notepad everywhere and decipher my handwriting later. Now with field software, I just tap on my tablet, game changer right?

You call it a game changer but I still see guys wrestling with tablets that won't connect or apps that crash. My paper notes never run out of battery or need an update. Sometimes the old way is just faster, you know? Why fix what isn't broken?

Yeah I totally get the "wrestling with tablets" thing lol. I was the same way for ages, swore my notebook was faster. What changed it for me was actually having to search through six months of paper notes for one specific reading. Took me three hours. Now even when the app acts up, having everything tagged and searchable instantly saves me so much headache. The bad days with tech still beat the best days with paper piles for me now.
