Estimating software glitch added phantom materials to my bids

I was putting together a quote for a shed build and the app kept listing extra bags of concrete mix. It took me a bit to catch on because the final number just felt too high. I went back and found an old project file that was still linked in the settings. Cleared that out and the quote went back to normal, saved me from overordering.

Classic ghost in the machine. Those leftover project files will get you every time. Had something similar happen with a deck quote last year where an old lumber list was still tucked in a subfolder. Software kept adding five extra treated boards to every new estimate. It's the worst kind of bug because it looks so real, you just assume your math is wrong. Always gotta double check those buried settings now.
