Prairie dog shooters vs. deer hunters, I noticed a huge difference in how they handle public land

Watched a group of prairie dog shooters leave their brass and broken clay targets all over a BLM zone near Laramie a couple weeks back, while the deer hunters I ran into up the same road had packed out every shell casing and even a gut pile from the day before, and it got me wondering why one group respects the land so much more than the other?

You mentioned that deer hunters packed out even the gut pile, which just reminded me of this time I was elk hunting near Rawlins and ran into a couple of bird hunters who had left their spent shells scattered like breadcrumbs across the whole valley floor. It's funny how the same piece of land can bring out such different kinds of behavior.
